10 years ago I was....
- 13 and wishing I was 14 years old so that I could go to stake dances. Funny how life was so dramatic back then. I was just finishing up my 7th grade year and looking forward to no school for a few months.
5 years ago I was....
- 18? Yeah. 18 was a GREAT year for me! I got my car. For those of you who don't know, I have four sisters and no brothers. My dad bet us all that if we don't kiss a boy until we're 18, he'll buy us a car. Well...I made it! So when I turned 18 I got my shiny black honda civic. I was in heaven (considering I had been driving a 1985 volvo. Don't worry Madison, its vintage now ;) Um what else happened that year... I graduated from high school. I got accepted to BYU. I partied all summer with my buddies. And I pretty much thought I was on top of the world.
5 months ago I was...
- Hmm Christmas time. That was fun. We went to WA for Christmas and saw a bunch of family. That was fun. I miss my VA children!
5 things on my to-do list today....
- Help 100,000 + students graduate from high school
- Close the phones at 7pm because its a long weekend!!! YAY!!
- Change into sweats and a hoodie
- Work on my sharing time lesson for primary on Sunday
- Call Katelyn.
5 snacks I enjoy...
- Sweedish Fish (currently enjoying)
- Costco Bottled Water
- Popcorn. Microwave, freshly popped, carmel, i love it all!
- Dr. Pepper. Fountain style.
- Goldfish (Katherine I'm still addicted!)
5 things I would do if I suddenly became a billionarie...
- quit my job. (Is that bad?)
- Buy a house (a big one. yeah maybe I'm a little vain)
- Pay off all of our family's debt.
- Go on a freakin nice vacation.
- Invest.
- Buy Brady a brand new white F-150. With big tires. and tinted windows. and leather...
- go shopping! WOW that would be fun!
- Pay tithing.
- Invest in a charity.
- Give BYU a bunch of money. Sorry Andrea, I'm true blue.
- Find a way to change the world.
- Ok so I got carried away...that was a fun question!
5 bad habits...
- Biting my nails. It's disgusting, I know.
- Not washing my face everyday. I'm actually working on this one.
- Not making dinner for Brady. That I'm not getting better at.
- Getting distracted at work. but..but..there are only 6 calls on hold right now.
- Not exercising. Katelyn tries every day and I'm such a schmuck.

- Basin City, WA. -Shed. Great place to grow up.
- Basin City, WA - New house. I love home.
- Provo, UT - heritage halls. Where I met some amazing people!
- Provo, UT - glenwood, bountiful court, centennial. Kinda forget about those except for Centennial where I met Brady.
- Provo, UT - Wymount. Awww.
5 jobs I've had...
- The Farm.
- The Country Mercantile.
- BYU Independent Study - Customer Service Rep. 4 years. Met some great people there.
- Schooled Magazine - Executive Editorial something or other. It was a good experience.
- BYU Independent Study - Front Desk Supervisor. Current job.
5 things most people don't know about me...
- There are no calls on hold right now!! WOW. That is truly amazing. It's going to be a great weekend!
- I have over 70 employees and I've done (given, not had) over 100 interviews in the last 8 months. Just writing that made me exhaused.
- I pretty much consider Provo home now.
- I'm re-reading the Twilight series for the 3rd time now...in preparation for the 4th book to come out. AND I went to the Stephenie Meyer signing last weekend. Yes, I'm a nerd.
- um... I think thats all.

You've read those damndable books more than once!?!??! I've lost respect for you. On another note - you really need a vacation from BYU IS dude - I mean wow. Seriously. Sweet that there were only 6 calls in Queue though - in prep for the 6 MILLION on Black Tuesday!
I'm gonna comment on your yoga post too, I had to teach that for one of my classes and it's amazing!!!
-reading through the 10, 5 years ago, it brought me back to many things to laugh about growing up with yur fam! how 'bout 16 years ago driving in the camper seeing who could stand on ice the longest?? haha
I love getting to know new things about you! and I love that you bite your nails like me. Except I feel like I am always thinking how beautiful your hands are so you must not be a bad nail biter. I can't wait for book # 4

hey rach..i just had to post since i stumbled on your blog again and saw this about jr. high. i was JUST thinking about (i don't know if you remember this) when we were in jr. high and we made a list of the qualities we wanted in a guy. just seeing if you found him....it'd be so interesting to see now what we thought would be perfect for us then. :) random thought, but it was about you, so i thought i'd share. by the way, my email is melissa.a.koch@gmail.com...miss you!
