tomorrow is the day!!

The last few days have been...well...rough. Sunday night I began getting contractions and was in quite a bit of pain so Monday at about 5:30 AM we ventured to the hospital. They hooked me up to the monitors and we sat there for an hour watching contractions. Then the nurse checked me and said that I was progressing and wanted to wait another hour. So we sat for another hour. The baby is doing great through this whole thing, but her mother wasn't progressing enough to be admitted. So after about 3 hours I was sent home to endure the lovely contractions ALL day.

And all night.

This morning we had an appointment with the Doctor. Unfortunately he was stuck at the hospital delivering a plethora of babies. I was pretty upset and irritable at this point but he kindly just asked us to come to the hospital and he would check me there. So back to the hospital we went and alas!! I am dilated, effaced, and softened enough to be induced tomorrow morning at 5:30 AM!! I have been having contractions 5-10 min apart for about 36 hours straight now. I am ready for my epidural!!! And ready to have this baby!!

We couldn't be more thrilled. We finally get to meet our dear little Natalie!

Here's a lovely picture of me today. I look miserable.

Just kidding....that was at Thanksgiving!! Ok, this is really it now...

Wish us luck!! We'll keep you all updated!

Good luck!! You are going to do great! The epidural is the best part... even pushing wasn't as bad as the contractions before the epidural. I can't wait to see pictures of her... SO exciting!!
