96 holes??

I’m sure you’re all eagerly awaiting the news of graduation and moving…right? Well blogger friends, you shall wait no longer. The following is a comings’ and goings’ of our little family for the past month and a half.

She's so sweet when she sleeps :)

Natalie is now three and a half months old. It’s hard to believe how much she has changed. She continues to be content with life but she has recently become very curious and very social. She doesn’t sit still without the company of someone or something (usually someone). She loves to smile and coo at you but don’t think about putting her down cuz she will make a stink of it for sure! She has been pretty spoiled with all the family around and Grandpa, Grandma, and Katelyn have even got her to giggle a bit (its pretty much the cutest thing you’ll ever hear!) She still hates tummy time but her favorite thing is to sit or stand on someone’s lap and look around. Our new ward just loves her because she’s basically the only baby. Ah…the new ward…

The move was quite the experience and continues to be so. Instead of a normal drive of 10 hours, it took us 16 to get here. With Natalie stopping every couple hours and the moving truck having serious issues, we were all exhausted by the time we pulled into mom and dad’s late that night. The next day we went and saw our house for the first time. I’ll tell you what, we literally live in the middle of an alfalfa field. And although I grew up our here, it is definitely taking some getting used to.
View from our house. I wasn't joking about the alfalfa field!

Our house has some definite personality! It has needed some work, but overall we like it. With a little more work (and some new carpet in my bedroom) it will be great for us. It’s nice to have Brady close to work and I get to visit family on a daily basis. It has been and continues to be an adjustment but every day it feels more and more like home.

Brady's idea of feeding Natalie.

Back to Brady’s graduation. Graduation weekend was great. We had our whole Cutler family in town and two of my sisters and we had a great time. Graduation itself was wonderful…it only lasted an hour and 15 minutes!! I was so proud of Brady. What an accomplishment!! I am so happy that we both were able to get our Bachelor’s Degree’s at BYU. What a great school and what a great experience. It was bittersweet to leave Provo. I miss our old ward and old friends and family but I’m excited about our new life. Change is for me a little harder than I thought it would be. I’m just so glad I have Brady by my side. He puts up with so much from me, I love him so much.

Brady received his degree in Facilities and Property Management

Well that about brings ya’ll up to date. This summer is going to be filled with fixing up our house and yard, helping mom recover from surgery, learning how to make apple cider, and hopefully a whole lot of partying.

Adieu.

PS. We got charged $75 from Wymount because we had 96 holes in our apartment...oops.

awww...come on! 96 holes! Well, when we lived at Wyview, the cost was a dollar a hole. Could've been worse, right? Natalie is growing more beautiful!!!

Natalie is such a little cutie! Im glad you live close to family. We just moved to Pasco a couple months ago from DC and got a house. Its actually right behind walmart! Its so much fun to be 5 mins from my parents house. All that time away, you totally deserve it! plus, Im sure you missed them. :)

You really had 96 holes? OMG! But I'm surprised that they charged you $75 for the holes!!! serious, if you would have known, you could have patched them up! And we got a KICK out of the picture of Brady and Natalie. That is EXACTLY what Mike would be doing! Take pictures of the INSIDE of your house too!

96 holes? Really? Were they all from you? Hahah! So they're not kidding.

Look at your new place! I love it. And yes, I am sure it will take some re-adjusting. I find change harder as I get older as well. Maybe that's why we're happy to stay in one place for a long time finally. So nice that you're so close to family. I really hope we end up close to family.

I love the picture of Natalie eating a bottle while Brady is outside shooting. Your caption is so funny! Glad to hear she's growing up and she looks as cute as ever. I was thinking the other day how different she will seem when we see her again.
